Our Curriculum

In alignment with our aim of becoming one of the best schools in Abuja, and indeed one of the best schools in Nigeria as a whole, the goal of our school curriculum is to surpass a mere acquisition of knowledge. We aim to help students achieve a thorough comprehension and application of learned content. We have set up efficient learning processes to ensure that students develop into individuals who can independently apply critical thinking skills where and when it matters.

The curriculum is primarily designed to cover the concepts of the Nigerian high schools' curriculum, while also aligning with the British curriculum. In addition, we offer the following learning programmes:

• ICT training and e-learning programmes.
• Training on leadership and citizenship.
• Personalized guidance in the development of communication skills, language proficiency and public speaking.
• Learning beyond the classroom — an educational experience provided for all our high school students through organized field studies and educational tours of Nigeria's beautiful terrain.
• Training on developing public speaking and presentation skills.
• Learning Support Programmes (LSP) to ensure excellent results in national and international examinations such as JSCE, SSCE, WAEC, NECO, Checkpoint, Pre-SAT, SAT and TOEFL.

We are planning to establish exchange programmes with at least one comparable secondary school each in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, the UK and Europe. Notable Nigerians who are leaders in all sectors of the economy will be invited regularly to give educational talks, seminars, workshops and guidance. Students begin the British curriculum in JSS1 and write the Checkpoint examination in JSS3.
